The Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP) at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has a requirement to evaluate its long-term effect on manufacturing establishments including economic performance and survival. The specific tasks pursuant to this effort are described in the Performance Work Statement included in the solicitation. It is anticipated that the solicitation for this work will be issued on or about May 2, 2011, using FAR Part 12, Commercial Item Procedures utilizing FAR Part 13.5 Simplified Acquisition Procedures - Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. The Government anticipates the award of a fixed price Purchase Order on or about June 30, 2011 with a 12-mo. performance period.
