The Navy Executive Dining Facility (NEDF) requires an upgrade to their Point of Sale (POS) System.  A point of sale system is a set of equipment which processes and records transactions between NEDF and their clients and guests, at the time in which goods and/or services are purchased.  The current system, POSitouch provides the NEDS staff with managing tools that make certain tasks such as table management, inventory tracking, labor management, tip management, kitchen displays, and deliveries more efficient. It also provides the NEDF with a specialized payment process and is capable of providing reports that help the NEDF staff with sales, auditing, productivity, etc.  The NEDF currently utilizes an out dated version of POSitouch and needs to upgrade to the newest software and hardware. The current version must be updated as the current software will no longer be supported. The system consists of a hard drive, internet security, power supply switches, touch screen monitors, proprietary software and installation of all equipment.  The NEDF needs to purchase the new POSitouch System as it is an upgrade to the current system and is the only system the NEDF is familiar with.  This is a technological upgrade to an existing system, a LSJ is attached.
