The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) intends to issue a solicitation for a firm fixed price commercial item requirement for Executive Secretariat Services in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, and FAR Subpart 13.5 Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. The Request for Proposal (RFP) number SB1341-08-RP-0056 is estimated to be available on or about June 2, 2008 via the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) web site at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the RFP will not be issued. It is incumbent upon contractors to monitor the FedBizOpps web site for release of the RFP and all subsequent amendments. The North American Industrial Classification Code is 541690 with a size standard of $6.5M. This will be a 100% Small Business Set Aside. The nature of this work is to provide support to the NIST, Building and Fire Research Laboratory (BFRL) for the organization and preparation of the subcommittee monthly technical meetings, planning and development of agendas, and programmatic activities, coordination and facilitation of documents and speakers, and publication and distribution of meeting materials and presentations.
