The United States Army Contracting Command - New Jersey (ACC-NJ) Picatinny Arsenal, New Jersey 07806-5000 has a proposed a sole source acquisition to provide Explosive Waste Incinerator (EWI) Support Services. 

The Government intends to solicit, negotiate, and award a firm fixed price contract to Aptim Federal Services, 4171 Essen Lane, Baton Rouge, LA, 70809, on a sole source basis. (See attached Sole Source Justification FAR Subpart 13.5)   The period of performance shall be twelve (12) months from award.  The effort will also include four (4) additional Options for a total period of performance of five (5) years.  The proposed sole source acquisition will utilize the authority under Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items, 41 U.S.C. 190 as implemented by FAR Subpart 13.5.

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the Government. The NAICS code for this effort is 562211 and the small business sized standard is $41,500,000.00.
