The United States Government currently occupies 12,848 ANSI BOMA Office Area (ABOA) of warehouse space in a property located in Forestville, Maryland.
The Government is considering whether to remain in its existing lease space or relocate to alternative space for the entire 12,848 ABOA, if economically advantageous. In making this determination, the Government will consider, among other things, the availability of alternate space, physical move costs, replication of tenant improvements and telecommunication infrastructure, etc.
Offered space must meet Government requirements for fire safety, accessibility, seismic and sustainability standards per the terms of the Lease. A fully serviced lease is required. Offered space shall not be in the 100 year flood plain.
Expressions of Interest must be received in writing no later than 4:00 pm on July 26, 2011, and must include the following information in order to be deemed compliant and be eligible for further consideration:
- Building name and address.
- Legal property description, recent survey, and property identification number (PIN).
- Building ownership information.
- Space available, it’s location within the building and its condition (shell or built-out).
- Date of space availability.
- Rentable square feet available and expected rental rate per rentable square foot, fully serviced.
- Amount of parking available on-site and its cost.
- Name, address, telephone number, and email address of authorize contact.
- In cases where an agent is representing multiple ownership entities, written acknowledgement.
The Government’s decision regarding whether or not to solicit offers will be based, in part, on complete information received in response to this advertisement. In the event that your response to this ad fails to provide the required information, the Government reserves the right to assume that the building in question cannot meet the Government’s requirements.
