This is an invitation to submit a bid to the Glynn County Board of Commissioners for the construction of a new freshwater fishing pier, as indicated herein. Sealed bids will be accepted and time stamped at the Glynn County Finance Office, located in suite 300 of the Harold Pate Building until 1:55 PM on January 25, 2022. At 1:55 the bids will be taken to conference room 216 and will be opened and publicly read at 2:00 PM. Instructions for preparation and submission of a bid-proposal are contained in this packet. Bids must be typed or printed in ink. Bids submitted for this invitation must include the "Bidders Response Schedule" and be returned in a sealed envelope or container marked, "SEALED BID" with the applicable "BID NUMBER" on the outside. Bids may not be considered unless so received. There will be a pre-bid meeting for this project **held on December 15, 2021 at 11:00 AM at the Lucious Daniel Training Center on the Glynn County Public Works Compound at 4145 Norwich Street Extension, Brunswick, GA 31520. **Any questions and /or misunderstandings that may arise from this invitation shall be submitted, in writing and forwarded, to the Procurement Officer, Jason Hagen at [email protected] no later than December 15, 2021. All Questions and Answers submitted will be posted to the website no later than December 17, 2021. Answers to questions submitted that materially change the conditions and specifications of this invitation for bid will be promulgated to all addressees as an addendum.
