This is a Source Sought Synopsis announcement, market research for information only, to be used for preliminary planning purposes. This market research is being conducted to identify potential sources possessing the engineering and manufacturing knowledge for the Air Refueling Receptacle Cartridge used on F-15 aircraft. No proposal is requested or accepted from this synopsis. This is not a solicitation for proposal and no contract shall be awarded from this synopsis. The Department of the Air Force Material Command, OO-ALC/GHGJ, Hill AFB is conducting a market survey for the following Air Refueling Receptacle Cartridge requirements:

(1) Relevant Experience to include performing engineering, manufacturing, inspection, and testing of similar Cartridge Actuated and Propellant Actuated Devices in the last 5 years.

No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow up information requests. The government has very limited technical data to provide to potential offerors. Offerors must possess access to all appropriate data. Nammo Talley, Mesa, Arizona has the capability and drawings for the Air Refueling Receptacle Cartridge and the government does not own or have the right to use the data required to manufacture this device.
