PURPOSE/DESCRIPTION
This is a Source Sought Synopsis announcement, market research for information only, to be used for preliminary planning purposes. This market research is being conducted to identify potential sources possessing the engineering and manufacturing knowledge for these F-15 unique components used on F-15 aircraft. No proposal is requested or accepted from this synopsis. This is not a solicitation for proposal or no contract shall be awarded from this synopsis. The Department of the Air Force Material Command, OO-ALC/GHGJ, Hill AFB is conducting a market survey for the following F-15 unique components:

INSTRUCTION
(1) Relevant Experience to include performing engineering, manufacturing, inspection, and testing of similar Cartridge Actuated and Propellant Actuated Devices in the last 5 years.

(2) Company profile will include the following:

C. CAGE Code
D. DUNS number
E. Small Business designation/status claimed

No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow up information requests. The government has very limited technical data to provide to potential offerors. Offerors must possess access to all appropriate data. Universal Propulsion Company, Fairfield, California has the capability and drawings for F-15 unique components and the government does not own or have the right to use the data required to manufacture this device.
