To conduct market research to identify potential sources that may possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience to meet the requirements for qualification and repair of the F16 Common Color Multi-Functional Display (CCMFD) Head Assembly for use by the United States Air Force (USAF) and to assist in determining if this effort can be competitive and/or a total Small Business Set-Aside. The Government will use information to determine the best acquisition strategy for this procurement. The government believes the best fit North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 811219 "Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance" with a corresponding Size standard of $20.5. However, the Government is open to other NAICS suggestions that might be a more appropriate fit. Provide justification why another NAICS would be more appropriate. Other NAICS will be considered, but the Government will make the final determination. The Government is interested in all small businesses to include 8(a), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, Hubzone, and Women-Owned small business concerns. The government requests that interested parties respond to this notice and identify your small business status to the identified NAICS code. If you identify your company as a Small Business, please indicate (with supporting rationale) how your company would be a Small Business given the restrictions identified in subparagraph (b) (1) of FAR Clause 52.219-14, (which states that at least 50 percent of the cost of the contract performance incurred for personnel shall be expended for employees of the concern) based on prescribing language in FAR 19.508(e) and 19.811-3(e).
