DESC: INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT WITH Meggitt PLC. The Air Force, Edwards Air Force Base, CA intends to award a Sole Source purchase order to Meggitt, formerly Pacific Scientific Company, 1800 Highland Ave. Duarte, CA 91010. The Sole Source purchase will be for three (3) F-35 Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) Rudder Pedal Assembly (P/N 1501147-11), three (3) F-35Lock Release Cable Assembly (P/N 1501147-11).

Meggitt, formerly Pacific Scientific Company, is the only known source identified for procurement of this supply. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 336413 and the size standard is 1000 employees.

Please note that this is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements are invited to submit in writing complete information describing their ability to provide the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) Rudder Pedal Assemblies (and F-35 Lock Release Cable Assemblies unit matching the above requirements.
