ALLIGATOR RIDGE LOP AND SCATTER
The Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Nevada State Office is seeking contractor services to conduct a tree thinning (manual lop and scatter) treatment on 3,076 acres of pinyon pine and Utah juniper trees. There may be up to an additional 664 acres indicated as an option items that would be awarded subject to available funding. A maximum of 3,740 acres would be treated under this contract. Leave areas and boundaries may be altered prior to implementation of the project to mitigate sensitive resource concerns that may reduce the acreage. The Solicitation will include contract documents with details of the project when it is released.
The project is located in White Pine County, Nevada. Service Contract Act (SCA) Wage Rate Requirements are applicable to this project and the appropriate SCA Wage Decision(s) will be included in the solicitation.
The BLM will issue a Total Small Business Set-Aside competitive solicitation on/about August 16, 2021. The BLM anticipates issuing a single firm fixed price award from this solicitation.
The competitive solicitation, 140L3921R0015, will be in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 19.5, Set-Asides for Small Business. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 115310, Support Activities for Forestry, Fuels Management Services and the size standard is $20.5M (per the SBA¿s Table of Small Business Size Standards).
A Request for Proposal (RFP) solicitation package will be available electronically on or about Monday August 16, 2021 at the SAM website located at www.sam.gov. Proposals will be due no later than Friday September 3, 2021. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring www.sam.gov for the release of the solicitation package, for any other pertinent information, and for downloading a complete copy of the solicitation package. The government will not provide paper copies of the solicitation. To be eligible for contract award, offerors must be registered, and currently active, and complete the online Representations and Certification in the System for Award Management (SAM) data base via website: http://www.sam.gov.
Award will be based on Best Value to the Government in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR). The Government reserves the right to award a contract to other than the low offeror(s).
