This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.The solicitation number is W91ZRS-05-R-0010, and is issued as a Request for Proposals (RFP). NAICS code is 561730, with size standard of $6 MIL. The solicitation and incorporated provision s and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-05. The proposed contract is 100% set aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) concerns, all offerors must state their business size in their proposal. The Co nnecticut Army National Guard has a requirement to control erosion at the Stones Ranch Military Reservation (SRMR), 462 Boston Post Rd, East Lyme, CT 06333-1405. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment and tools necessary to perform w ork described in the SOW. All work must be completed by October 14, 2005. Award will be made to the offeror whose proposal represents the best value to the Government. The best value award will be based on the evaluation of proposals for past performanc e and price where past performance is approximately equal with price. Contractor must provide Past Performance information which includes persons of contact on the last three contracts for similar services. There is a pre-proposal site visit scheduled fo r Thursday, August 18, 2005 at 10:00 AM. This synopsis/solicitation along with the Scope of Work is available on the USPFO for Connecticut Solicitations Website at the following url www.ct.ngb.army.mil/ebs/advertisedsolicitations.asp.
