The intent of this contract is to sow, grow, pack and ship up to 550 thousand (550M) container seedlings for various National Forests in Region 5 in California. Delivery will be the Placerville Nursery located on the Eldorado National Forest, 2375 Fruitridge Road, Camino, California. Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, equipment, containers, and other material necessary to perform all the work necessary to grow containerized seedlings from Government furnished seed in compliance with the terms, specifications, conditions, and provisions provided in the contract. Contract time is approximately 15 months. Solicitation package will be uploaded approximately January 25, 2008 with a bid closing date of approximately February 25, 2008.
