The Bureau of Land Management has a requirement for Mechanical Chipping of 1,100 acres on public lands in the county of Saguache in the state of Colorado. The NAICS code is 115310 and the size standard is $6 Million. This is a 100% small business set-aside. (See Note 1.) A firm fixed price contract is anticipated. Approximate issue date of solicitation is July 8, 2003 with proposals due on July 22, 2003. Site visit date and time will be posted in the solicitation. Contract performance period is expected to start as soon as possible after contract award, but no later than 15 days after the notice to proceed has been issued and to be completed by October 31, 2003.
