This project will consist of timber stand improvement and fuel reduction activities through a variety of treatments such as pre-commercial thinning, mechanical thinning, fuel break construction, or a combination there of. The contractor shall provide any and all labor, equipment, supplies, services, permits, supervision, workman’s compensation, unemployment, and transportation to accomplish this project. The resultant contract will be awarded as a Firm Fixed Priced, Performanced Based Service Contract. Numbered Note 1 applies. Request for Quote procedures wil be utilized for award. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency.
