For this service project Offeror shall provide products and services necessary for the Ouachita National Forest to incorporate the Scenery Management System (SMS) into its revised Forest Plan. Offeror shall confer with Forest staff, use existing Forest data, perform new analysis, and provide Forest planning direction consistent with “Landscape Aesthetics - A Handbook for Scenery Management (Agriculture Handbook Number 701)” and the USDA-FS Ouachita National Forest Planning Team. Contract work will not be completed at a Forest Service facility. Location of the work is at the Contractor’s discretion. The Government shall make available the following listed material: Existing Sensitivity Level Information; existing GIS information such as variety class information, and land type mapping; historical Visual Management Systems used on Forest. ALL INFORMATION PREPARED UNDER THIS CONTRACT IS THE PROPERTY OF THE USDA FOREST SERVICE. Contract time is approximately 168 days and work is scheduled to begin immediately after award to successful Quoter.
