The Flathead National Forest intends to advertise a request for proposals for the reclamation of several miles of road on four roads located on the Hungry Horse Ranger District, Flathead County, Montana. Items of work include, but are not limited to, stake reestablishment, construction of berms and waterbars, removal and disposal of culverts, stream restoration, seeding, fertilizing, and mulching the worksites. Additionally, importation and spreading of riprap is required on most of the culvert removal sites. Estimated start work date is July 5, 2006. All decommissioning work shall be completed no later than September 30, 2006. Solicitation issue date, May 11, 2006. A pre-proposal tour is scheduled for May 30, 2006.
