Furnish all labor, tools, materials, and equipment necessary to harvest locally Slash, Loblolly, and Longleaf Pine trees through selective thinning and standard clear cutting practices, from 8 areas totaling 202 acres. Volumes are estimated at approximately 4086 tons of pine pulpwood, 756 tons of pine sawtimber, 50 tons of hardwood pulpwood and, 644 tons of pine chip-n-saw.Timber is considered to be in average condition for the Sumter Area. The contractor shall have completed harvesting operations and removed all designated timber from the sites by 31 March 2002. The area to be harvested is at Poinsett Electronic Combat Range, Wedgefield, SC in Sumter County. The offeror closing date will be COB September 18 2002.
