The Bureau of Land Management, Salt Lake City, Utah, has a requirement to perform a hazardous fuel reduction project, involving overstory reduction treatment, thinning of pinyon and juniper trees, fuels reduction treatment, slash treatment and removal of biomass from the area. The project area is located about 20 miles east of the town of Kanab, Utah. Solicitation packages will be available on or about July 29, 2005. Proposals will be due on or about August 25, 2005.
