Project is a Request for Proposal for an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity, requirements type contract. This will be a Performance Based Service Contract for a base period and three optional one year periods. Proposals will be evaluated based upon: Experience; Past Performance; Quality Control Plan; Work Plan and Schedule and Safety Plan. Evaluation factors other than cost or price, when combined, are approximately equal to cost or price in the award decision. Work will include vegetation management of areas located on the Caddo/Womble District on the Ouachita National Forest in Arkansas. Solicitation includes pay items such as thinning, planting, wildlife stand improvement, release, site preparation and herbicide application. Mandatory pre-proposal meetings are scheduled for June 26 and June 27, 2003, at 9:00 a.m. each day at the Womble District Office, Mt Ida, Arkansas. Failure to attend one of these meetings will result in your proposal not being considered for award. Potential contractors shall notify Gary Baber, Contracting Officer, at 501-321-5204 no later than June 25, 2003 to schedule attendance at one of the mandatory pre-proposal meetings.
