Description: The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to release a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for one (1) F414 Inlet Nozzle in support of the F-18 Super Hornet aircraft. The inlet nozzle is used to provide a smooth flow path for air entering the engine inlet during out of airframe full power engine test of the F414 Afterburner Turbofan Engine.

This procurement includes technical data requirements. The Government is anticipating a Firm Fixed Price contract.

The request for Quotation and any associated amendments will be posted on the NAVAIR homepage located at http://www.navair.navy.mil. Select "Doing Business" and then "Open Solicitations." Hard copies if the Request for Quotation and amendments will NOT bw mailed to contractors. The solicitation will be posted on the web, on or about April 14, 2011.
