The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to negotiate a Firm Fixed Price order under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00019-05-G-0026 with The Boeing Company, St. Louis, MO, on a sole source basis for the procurement of Retrofit Non-Recurring Engineering (NRE), as well as Validation/Verification (Val/Ver) and Install kits in accordance with Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) 6227C2. This procurement will include associated program management, engineering, and integrated logistics support (technical directives) to support this effort. As the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of the F/A-18E/F and EA-18G, The Boeing Company is the only known source with the technical experience and data necessary to perform this effort.
