The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) seeks to identify potential sources that currently can provide, or will soon be able to provide, commercially available, soon-to-be commercially available, or prototype face (facial) recognition systems. Available systems may be selected by the Government to participate in the Face Recognition Vendor Test (FRVT) 2012, a Government sponsored technology evaluation of advanced face recognition technologies in still and video imagery. Potential sources of face recognition technology will not be funded, nor charged, to participate in the FRVT 2012. A generic format for gathering information on this topic has been established on the FRVT 2012 website at http://www.nist.gov/itl/iad/ig/frvt-2012.cfm. Deadlines for submission are also listed on the website.
All submissions must be sent to Joshua Holliday, Contract Specialist, at the National Institute of Standards and Technology, Acquisition Management Division, 100 Bureau Drive, Mail Stop 1640, Gaithersburg, MD 20899-1640. Email address: [email protected].
Submissions must be received not later than 3:00PM Eastern Time on May 31, 2012.
