This is a SOLE SOURCE combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 12.6, “Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items,” as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are requested and a written solicitation document will not be issued.
This solicitation is a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2020-06 effective 06 May 2020. The complete text of any of the clauses and provisions may be accessed in full text at www.acquisition.gov.
The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 238290 – Other Building Equipment Contractors with a size standard of $16.5 million. This RFQ is solicited on a sole source basis cited FAR 6.302-1 as a unique supply or service available from only one source.
The FBI does not intend to reimburse recipients of this RFQ for any costs incurred in preparing a quote. Prior to the preparation of your quote, please read all instructions contained herein. A Contractor's quote shall be clearly stated, complete and provide a straightforward, concise delineation if its capabilities and services to satisfy this RFQ.
The FBI requires a Contractor to provide all personnel, supplies, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, transportation, and other items and services necessary to perform the required testing, demonstration of proper use, inspection and re-Certification of the Fall Protection Systems and equipment located on the FBI CJIS Campus in Clarksburg, WV.
The FBI’s CJIS Campus is a secured facility, operational 24/7, with strict requirements for access and movement within buildings of both persons and vehicles. A background investigation will be conducted on all contractor personnel prior to granting access to the site.
The Contractor shall be responsible for ensuring all services provided under this contract are in accordance with (IAW) the terms and conditions outlined herein; the Statement of work (SOW) identified as Attachment 1.
