Lakehurst Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, New Jersey intends to award a Fixed Price type contract to Calzoni, Via Andrea Solari, 19, 20144 – Milano (ITALY), in order to procure Advanced Stabilized Glide Scope Indicators (ASGSI) to use in the Foreign Comparative Testing (FCT) program. Due to the nature of this procurement, a solicitation will not be issued to the public. The SGSI provides pilots approaching air-capable ships with a color-coded indication of a safe glide slope down to hover position. Procurements under the FCT program will be conducted on a sole-source basis in accordance with the statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 2317 (c) (1) and implemented by FAR 6.302-1 and DFARs 206.302-1 (b).
