The City of Long Beach requests the services of a professional consulting firm (Consultant) to provide federal legislative representation services. The Legislative Representative(s) works under the policy direction of the Mayor and nine City Council members and is administratively responsible to the City Manager, or his designee. The Legislative Representative(s)’ primary contact will be with the Manager of Government Affairs in the City Manager’s Office. The principle responsibility of the consultant will be to secure federal funding and achieve determined legislative and regulatory outcomes on behalf of the City.
