The Agricultural Marketing Service has posted an updated Grilled Chicken Breast, Chopped and Formed, Fillet-Style, Fully Cooked, Frozen Federal Purchase Program Specification (FPPS). The primary updates include adding Breast, Chopped and Formed to the product name, prohibiting the use of rib meat, increasing the processed date from 60 to 90 days, adding antimicrobial agent(s) use as a processing aid, and adding the auditing or grading certification option as well as contractor checkloading.
