The scope of this project shall consist of the restoration of a dune including preparation of and excavation from borrow area(s), transport, and placement of sand within the dune template; along approximately 5,630 linear feet of shoreline located to the south of Matanzas Inlet in St. Johns County, between Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) reference monuments R-203 and R-208.5, largely within the St Johns County Right of Way (ROW) for Old A1A South; as well as planting suitable dune vegetation, and the installation of a linear sand fence along the landward extent of the dune.
