CITY OF VENETA FERMENTATION INCENTIVES COMMUNITY-ENGAGED CRAFT BREWERY, CIDERY, DISTILLERY, WINERY, OR BREWPUB Notice of Intent Due on February 15, 2020 REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS The City of Veneta has issued a request for proposals for a craft brewery, brewpub, cidery, distillery, tasting room, or similar fermentation operation. Veneta is a small and vibrant rural community located just a few miles west of Eugene in the beautiful Willamette Valley. In an effort to attract the right community-engaged fermentation busi ness, the City of Veneta has developed a suite of incentives including but not limited to: City-funded infrastructure to support the development in the downtown, System Development Charge (SDC) fee reduction, development funding assistance, regional marketing assistance, and the option to purchase one of two ideally located City-owned lots with flexible terms. There is a tiered submission process, and all interested parties are encouraged to email a simple intent to submit notice to [email protected], due on February 15, 2020.
