Bid Package #2 - The Fermentation Sciences Institute Project is a Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) Project with J.W. Design & Construction, Inc. (JWDCI) serving as the CMAR and TLCD Architecture (TLCD) serving as the Project Architect. The project is currently at the 100% Construction Documents Phase. At the conclusion of the public bidding phase, JWDCI will enter in to a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) contract with the Trustees (Cal Poly) and will in effect become the General Contractor (At Risk). JWDCI will administer the Request for Proposals (RFP) for Bid Package #2 and all trade subcontracts will be directly with the Construction Manager JWDCI. At this current stage in the project, JWDCI is soliciting subcontractor proposals for ALL trades involved in the construction of the Winery Building, Grange Hall Building, and site work with the exception of the trades listed below: Landscape and Irrigation: This scope is currently being re-designed and will be included in a separate upcoming bid package. Waste Water Treatment Plant: This scope will be handled via a separate solicitation for design/construction.
