The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) intends to award, on a sole source basis, a purchase order to Antibody Research Corporation, 5988 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Charles, MO 63304. The authority for this sole source procurement is FAR 13.106-1. The contractor is the only known source for Hybridomas producing monoclonal antibodies for the following proteins: Ferret CD4, Ferret TNF-a, Ferret IL2, Ferret IL1, Ferret IFN-a, Ferret IFN-b. This is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation is available. The performance period is 10 days from date of order. Firms that believe they can provide the services are encouraged to identify themselves and give written notification to the Contracting Officer within 10 days of the publication date of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
