Description and Code:  55 - Lumber, Millwork, Plywood and Veneer

 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12 and 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. 

Synopsis/Solicitation N00178-15-T-4692 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ).  The synopsis/solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Regulation.

 This requirement is not eligible for small business set-aside.

 The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), intends to procure a Quantity of 4,608 Low Density Cellulose Fiberboard Panels, maximum density 18lbm/ft3), panel dimension, 1/2" x 48" x 144", light tan in color, smooth pressed surface on one face; smooth, lightly-textured surface on opposite face.  Supplier shall provide sample prior to contract award.  Delivery shall be in bundles consisting of 84 sheets (minimum) per bundle, and panels in each bundle shall be oriented with smooth pressed surfaces facing in the same direction.  Each bundle shall be protected from water intrusion using shrink-wrap plastic.

Please include shipping/freight cost for FOB destination Dahlgren, VA 22448-5114. Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) will be utilized for award in accordance with FAR Part 12.  The order shall be firm fixed price.
