This is a Sources Sought Synopsis. There is no solicitation available at this time. This synopsis is published for market research to identify potential sources capable of meeting requirements for fire prevention/suppression service at Dare County Bomb Range located near Stumpy Point North Carolina. A proposed draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) is attached to provide respondents an understanding of the needs of the government.
Firms responding to this announcement should indicate their size, particularly if they are a small business, small disadvantage business, woman owned business, HUBZone small business or service disabled veteran-owned small business.
The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 115310 applies to this acquisition with a size standard of $6,500,000.
The government anticipates this requirement will be for one (1) year with four (4) option years.
All interested parties shall submit a capabilities package that explicitly demonstrates capabilities and expertise related to the requirements identified in the PWS. Foreign contractor participation is not permitted.
The government will neither award a contract on the basis of this synopsis nor will it reimburse the contractor for any costs associated with preparing or submitting a response to this notice. This synopsis does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or an Invitation for Bid (IFB), nor does this issuance restrict the Governments acquisition approach. The Government reserves the right to reject in whole or in part any industry input as a result of this effort. If the Government decides to award a contract for this effort a synopsis and solicitation will be published. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract lies solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive requirement.
