The Department of the Army, Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC), Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM), Washington, is requesting industry participation in a Pre-Solicitation Conference for Market Research purposes only. The Pre-Solicitation Conference will be held Wednesday, 9 March 2016 at the MICC Conference Room, Suite 2100, Building 100 (McChord Field), JBLM, WA at 1:00 pm PST.
The purpose of this Pre-Solicitation Conference is to hold meaningful dialogue to provide a better understanding of the standard commercial practices for the industry under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 561621. This U.S. industry comprises establishments primarily engaged in (1) selling security alarm systems, such as burglar and fire alarms, along with installation, repair, or monitoring services or (2) remote monitoring of electronic security alarm systems. The information shared during the Pre-Solicitation Conference will be integral to the development of a pricing structure for future requirements for our Fire Suppression Systems, Fire Alarms, and Fire Sprinkler Systems throughout the base.

The Government is not soliciting offers at this time. This Conference is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or to award a contract. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with attending the Pre-Solicitation Conference.
