Synopsis:

This is a Request for Information (RFI) issued by the Regional Contracting Office (RCO), Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni, Japan (MCASI) in support of Fire & Emergency Services (F&ES) for Firefighter I, Firefighter II, and Hazardous Materials (Awareness and Operations Levels) training courses for certification.

Objective:

THIS SOURCES SOUGHT is being issued by the Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni, Japan (MCASI). MCASI is seeking potential sources that can provide Firefighter I, Firefighter II, and Hazardous Materials (Awareness and Operations Levels) training courses at Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni.

Note:

This RFI is solely for information and planning purposes only. It does not constitute a request for quotation, or request for proposal, and is not to be construed as a commitment by the U.S. Government to acquire any products or services.  No award will be made as a result of this RFI.

All responses received in reply to this RFI will be treated as information only. All questions must be submitted via email at;  [email protected] no later than July 5, 2024, 10:00AM Japan Standard Time (JST).

The MCASI RCO will not reimburse any expenses associated with the development, and submission of materials in response to this RFI or use of such information. 

The information provided may be used by the RCO to develop and/or enhance its acquisition strategy and performance work statement.

Any information that the Respondent considers proprietary should be clearly marked as such. All submissions become Government property and will not be returned, including any proprietary information. The Government reserves the right to reject, in whole or in part, any private sector input as a result of this market survey.

The purpose of publicizing this notice for potential action is to increase competition and broaden industry participation in meeting the Government’s requirements.

Request for Capabilities Statements:

Submitted responses must not exceed 10 pages with a Times New Roman, 12-point font with at least Top, Bottom, Left, Right - 1" margins. Each page of the package should be printable on 8 ½” x 11” paper.

Submission of Information:

A cover page for the response shall be included. The cover page, at a minimum, shall include the company name, address, points of contact [name(s), e-mail address(es), and telephone number(s)], Unique Entity ID (UEI), and Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) code.

It is requested that the capabilities packages be completed and submitted no later than July 9, 2024, by 10:00AM Japan Standard Time (JST). Responses can be submitted via e-mail to Mr. Koichi Yokogawa at [email protected].  No telephone responses will be accepted.

Any attachments with files ending in .zip or .exe are not allowable and will be deleted. Please ensure only PDF, Word, and Excel documents are attached to your email.
