THE TEXT OF THE ORIGINAL 14 DECEMBER 2020 NOTICE FOLLOWS:

North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 325510 Paint and Coating Manufacturing. The upcoming procurement actions are to solicit and procure Chemical Fireproofing IAW MIL-PRF-81904.

The Government contemplates award of a firm-fixed-price purchase order for 10,000 pounds.

For market research, the Government point-of-contact strongly encourages interested vendors to propose a best available delivery schedule, based upon a purchase order award during January 2021. Vendor price quotations are NOT solicited under this notice.

THE GOVERNMENT SHALL ONLY CONSIDER PRODUCTS AVAILABLE FROM QPL-81904 APPROVED VENDORS FOR CHEMICAL FIREPROOFING IN ACCORDANCE WITH SPECIFICATION MIL-PRF-81904.  Known Approved Vendors are International Paint LLC and Intumescents Associates Group (IAG), Inc.

In response to the upcoming solicitation, all quoting vendors will be required to submit Certificate of Conformance IAW 52.246-15, Certificate of Analysis IAW Addendum to FAR 52.212-4, Material Safety Data Sheets IAW 52.223-3, and Hazardous Warning Label IAW 252.223-7001.

The upcoming solicitation and procurement will be based upon 100% Full and Open Competition.

Delivery shall be FOB Destination to McAlester Army Ammunition Plant, McAlester, OK 74501.

All contractors who provide goods/services to the DOD are required to be registered in this beta.SAM database.  If your firm is not registered, recommend you enroll at your earliest conveneience.

Approximate issue date of the solicitation is 31 December 2020 with a closing date approximately 7 to 14 days from the date of solicitation issue.  The solicitation shall be posted for vendor downloading via the Internet at this website.   Any changes to the solicitation shall also be posted to the FBO web site.  It is the contractor’s responsibility to check the websites daily for any posted changes.
