The City of Kissimmee, Florida is actively requesting proposals from outdoor fireworks companies, hereinafter to be referred to as CONTRACTOR, for the commitment to furnish a fireworks display choreographed and synchronized to music for July 4, 2022 (hereinafter “July 4th”) and, contingent upon approval from City Commission, December 31, 2022 (hereinafter “New Year’s Eve”), with the City`s option to extend the contract for three additional years for the July 4th and, contingent upon approval from City Commission, New Year’s Eve show only upon mutual consent. Funds for the New Year’s Eve fireworks display have not yet been appropriated by the City Commission. As a result, if City Commission does not appropriate funds for a New Year’s Eve fireworks display, CONTRACTOR will not furnish a fireworks display on New Year’s Eve nor receive compensation for a New Year’s Eve fireworks display.
