Scope of Work: The Wolfe University Center 221 & 223 is a multipurpose event space and classroom. The rooms can function separately or combined, and all programming should reflect these room combinations. The existing AV system contents a Crestron DM 16x16 matrix and this AV upgrade will change out all I/O cards (except the DMC-SDI cards) and the DM frame will require a firmware update. For this AV upgrade we will keep the existing JBL control 26 speakers, Da-lite projector screens, and av rack. Vendor is responsible for removing old equipment, installing, running cables, and configuring all equipment on the equipment list as denoted. In terms of video, the DM matrix will be populated as shown in the provided CAD drawing. 2 PTZ cameras will be added per room; one facing the lectern and one facing the audience. The PTZ camera will need (1) 3G-SDI and (1) Cat6 run for video and control. Additionally, the SDI Out from each DMC-SDI card will be looped back out into an SDI wall plate in WUC 223. In the AV booth a video output will need to programmed and configured to feed to a monitor to be used for previewing inputs. The control system programming should allow the end user to control the PTZ camera, record presets, and send room audio plus either PTZ camera (via the matrix) to the built-in computers for video conferencing (via the DM-RMC-4K-100-C-1G). Video Conferencing will only be need for classroom use. Moreover, this AV upgrade will require new DM cabling to lectern as we will be adding a new recessed floor box for DM inputs, DM outputs, and 120V power. In terms of audio, (2) Tesira forte CI Dante, (2) 2 channel Shure wireless microphone systems, (2) 4 – input XLR wall plates, (12) ceiling mics, (2) 1- output XLR wall plates and (8) subwoofers will be added. Existing JBL control 26 speakers and amp will be reused. The lighting control system should control the (20) 2x2s and (20) downlights in each room. Light fixtures will be swapped for fixtures that are controlled by 0-10V (this work will be done by others). (2) Cameo keypad will be added in each room either side of the door entrance. Programming should allow end-user to create (6) presets for house light and control each zone separate. Each room will have (3) zones, (Z1 – for the 2x2s, Z2- for (10) downlights in the front, and Z3 - for (10) downlights in the rear). Please see enclosed reflected ceiling plan for more details. FIU will provide low voltage fire alarm dry contact and vendor is responsible for ensuring that system mutes all audio coming out of the audio DSP and recalling specific house light preset. FIU will provide a low voltage dry contact from a Crestron GLS-PLS-120/277 and the vendor is responsible for programming the override lighting scene for the emergency lights. Vendor’s programming shall include scrolling lists for video input and output selections, 5-digit password for the touch panels with hardcoded backdoor, password should user programmed via the admin page and admin page access should be via hidden button pushes. Graphic User Interface sample will need to be submitted to customer for final approval. The Crestron control system shall control the following Items: 1) RS-232 for TV tuners ( ch up/dn, scrolling list of (20) preset channels) 2) RS-232 for TVs (on/off) 3) RS-232 for projectors (on/off, blank, freeze) 4) RS-232 for doc cam (on/off, zoom up/dn, focus) 5) Screen control (up/dn) 6) Full Control and Presets of PTZ cameras 7) Full 0-10V lighting control on each zone and ability to control and save (6) presets for later use 8) Cameo keypad should be able to recall house light presets 9) Real feedback for all control whenever possible. Room Availability and Conditions: WUC 221 / 223 is currently being used as an active classroom and event space. The rooms will not be available Monday – Thursday from 9a – 1pm. The rooms are available after 1pm M-TH, all-day Fridays and on selected weekends. Vendor will need to work around event and class schedule. Vendor is responsible for leaving the room as they found it. Vendor will need to leave the room with a functional AV system until the new system is ready to be turned over. FIU can block out multiple days – will require coordination.
