This is a Sources Sought Notice for Tripler Army Medical Center (TAMC). This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of qualified sources and whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. The NAICS code is 325413 and successful vendor must be registered in the SAM with NAICS code 325413. Responses to the information requested will assist the Government in determining the appropriate set-aside and acquisition method. The Regional Health Contracting Office - Pacific intends to award an Firm, Fixed-Price contract for a base period with options to the successful offeror using FAR Part 12 commercial items procedures.
The requirement is for a monthly fixed lease contract for a flow cytometry system that includes all equipment, reagents, maintenance, and service calls as needed. System shall include the following salient Characteristics:
1. Flow Cytometry System shall be able to provide a bench top 10 color flow cytometer with three lasers, and reagents for CD4/CD8 counts, leukemia/lymphoma and HLA B-27 testing.
2. The Flow Cytometer system shall include a fully programmable instrument for sample preparation that will automatically lyse, mix, wash, and fixes cells for immunophenotyping.
3. The Flow Cytometry system shall have built in software for data analysis, calculations, result reporting, and quality control.
4. The Flow Cytometry System shall fit in a space that is 80 x 28 x 36 (WxDxH) inches.
5. The Flow Cytometry System shall connect with the current electrical outlets/plugs in place in the Core Lab, Department of Pathology with no modifications from our Facilities department or external electrician.
6. The vendor of the flow cytometer system shall provide 2 scheduled preventative maintenance visits per year and unlimited unscheduled on site trouble calls as needed.
