Fluid Biomarkers Assayed on Cerebrospinal Fluid and Blood The University of Wisconsin-Madison is requesting a sole source waiver for over $25K with the University of Gothenburg, a private, a non-profit, higher education institution in Sweden. The purchase is for fluid biomarkers assayed on cerebrospinal fluid and blood collected from participants enrolled in the Wisconsin Registry for Alzheimer’s Prevention study of individuals at risk for Alzheimer’s disease. This request is for a continuation of assaying samples for an ongoing study and the University of Gothenburg is the only institution that can provide these research assays due to proprietary technology they developed. The purchase will start in March 2021. The cost of the services will be $180K over two years. For more information contact: Janet Bresnahan (608)262-6335
