Description of Requirement:
The Food and Drug Administration is soliciting for a Florescence Spectrophotometer for the NCTR/ORA Nanotechnology Core Facility. The basic system consists of the Florescence spectrometer with a pulsed-xenon flash lamp, software controlled on/off, greater than or equal to 20 kW power and 8 microsecond pulse durations light source; detector must be a gated photomultiplier with s5 response for operation to 650 nm; instrument must be capable of detecting fluorescence, time-resolved, phosphorescence, chemiluminescence and bioluminescence; must have scanning capabilities for excitation, emission, constant wavelength synchronous, or constant energy synchronous scanning with variable scanning speed of 10-1500 nm/min in 1nm increments. Wavelengths accuracy of + or ââ¬â 1.0 nm and reproducibility of + or 1 0.5 nm; both monochromators must have variable slit widths over a range of 2.5 -20 nm in 0.1 nm increments. Vendor must also supply water cooled Peltier thermostatted sample holder.
This procurement will be firm-fixed price and will be competed under pre-existing Multiple Award Federal Supply Schedule contracts.
