Combined Synopsis/Solicitation

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Office of Marine and Aviation Operations/Marine Operations requires replacement Awning covers for the Flying Bridge deck and Wing Bridges on the NOAAS Reuben Lasker in accordance with specifications listed in the Statement of Need.

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services or products prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.

(ii) Solicitation number NM-AN2190-21-00102 is issued as a firm fixed price, commercial, request for quotation (RFQ).

(iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2020-08.

(iv) This is a small business set-aside. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 336611 – Ship Building and Repairing; Components for Ships; the small business size standard is 1,250 employees.

(v) Line items are as follows:

CLIN 1:  Pricing for one (1) Flying Bridge Awning, 22’ x 17’, and two Wing Bridge Awnings, each 13’ x 17’, constructed from 22 ounce vinyl-coated Polyester in White, as shown in the statement of need.

(vi) Description of requirements for the items to be acquired:  NOAA Marine Operations Center – Pacific (MOC-P); Research vessel NOAAS Reuben Lasker requires three (3) replacement custom awnings for current awnings which have deteriorated or exceeded the rated service life. Requirements are shown on the attached Statement of Need. Quotes will only be accepted from vendors registered with System for Award Management with the capacity to enter into a contract or purchase order with the federal government.                        

Quote must be provided on company letterhead. This solicitation closes 11/16/20 at 04:00pm PST, with the intent to award on 11/18/20.
