The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Medical Center Carswell, Fort Worth, Texas intends to make an award for an elevator maintenance agreement for the Federal Medical Center Carswell located in Fort Worth, Texas.  The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 238290 (Size Standard: $16,500,000.00).   This solicitation is being issued as set aside 100% for small businesses.  Faith-based and Community-based organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.

The contractor will provide elevator maintenance services in accordance with the Statement of Work. The Government contemplates awarding of an indefinite-delivery, requirements-type contract with firm-fixed unit prices resulting from the future solicitation. The contract year shall consist of a 12 month base year with four 12 month option years for renewal.

The Contractor shall provide all equipment, labor, and expertise required for the repair, maintenance, and inspections of the elevators at the FMC Carswell. The following equipment is on site and will be included in this agreement:

(1) Elevator (1) model DMC-1, 2100 pound (Hydraulic) pound passenger traction elevators with   Two (2) stops in line, manufactured by Dover Elevator Co.

(2) Elevator (2) model VFMC-1000-PTC-M (Traction) 4000 pound with 5 stops, 6 openings, manufactured by MCE.

(3) Elevator (3) model VFMC-1000-PTC-M (Traction) 4000 pound with 6 stops, 6 openings, manufactured by MCE.

(4) Elevator (4) model VFMC-1000-PTC-M (Traction) 4000 pound with 6 stops, 6 openings, manufactured by MCE.

(5) Elevator (5) model VFMC-1000-PTC-M (Traction) 4500 pound with 6 stops, 6 openings, manufactured by MCE.

(6) Elevator (6) model VFMC-1000-PTC-M (Traction) 4000 pound with 6 stops, 6 openings, manufactured by MCE.

(7) Elevator (7) model VFMC-1000-PTC-M (Traction) 4500 pound with 6 stops, 6 openings, manufactured by MCE.

(8) Elevator (8) model 210) (Dumbwaiter) with 2 stops, 2 openings, manufactured by D.A. MOTOT.

(9) Elevator (9) model DMC-1, 4500 pound (Hydraulic) pound passenger traction elevators with   four (4) stops, 6 openings in line, manufactured by Dover Elevator Co.

The Government will make award to the responsible Offeror whose offer conforms to this solicitation and is most advantageous to the Government. The proposed cost or price must include all associated charges or fees.
