DESCRIPTION: The 502nd Contracting Squadron, 2273 Reynolds Road, San Antonio, Texas 78234, is issuing a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement is being solicited as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price contract at Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA), Ft. Sam Houston, TX 78234 in support of the Army Medical Department Center and School (AMEDDC&S). The NAICS Code Selection is 337215 Showcase, Partition, Shelving and Locker Manufacturing. The Small Business Administration's (SBA) size standard for this NAICS code is 500 employees. This document incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-74 effective 30 May 2014. Quotes are being requested in accordance with FAR Part 12.

The preferred partition (Brand Name- HUFCOR) is a HUFCOR 3100 series partition. This item is being solicited as brand name or equal. To be considered for award as an "equal" product, the product must meet the salient characteristics specified in this solicitation's attachment. The offeror must indicate that the product is being offered as an equal product, if not providing the brand name. A copy of the technical specification for the partition being offered shall be included with the quote.
