Sealed Bids for the construction of site work for the Fonda Public Improvements Project will be received by the City of St. Albans at the office of the Engineer, Cross Consulting Engineers, 103 Fairfax Road, St. Albans, VT 05478, until 3:00 P.M. local time, March 15, 2024. The Bids received will be opened publicly at 3pm on March 15, 2024 at Cross Consulting Engineers office. Bidders are not required to be present at bid opening. Cross Consulting Engineers has been asked by the owner to review all bids vs the engineer’s estimate. This project consists of the construction of a new city street and sidewalk along with the installation and replacement of underground utilities. Completion date is October 30, 2024. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum basis, with alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form. All bidders must provide their UEI number with their bids.
