Notice is hereby given to all prospective bidders that the Clayton County Board of Education (“the Owner”) has adopted a process for mandatory prequalification of prospective bidders which shall be used on the demolition and renovation of the Former Morrow Middle School: 5968 Maddox Road, Morrow, GA 30260 (“the Project”). Architectural Project #202209. The proposed scope of work consists of but is not limited to: The demolition and renovation of the former Morrow Middle School site. The demolition scope consists of demolition and disposal of the existing facility with the exception of the gymnasium and attached classrooms & locker room areas. The scope of the renovation consists of new flooring, lighting, painting, low voltage systems and roof replacement in all remaining areas. In addition, the gymnasium will receive floor replacement, new bleachers and scoreboards. A detailed description of the Work is set forth in the Bidding Documents and all other requirements of the Contractor under the Contract Documents. The criteria for prequalification (“the Criteria”) are contained in the Owner’s Prequalification Statement form, a copy of which shall be obtained upon request to the Architect, MSSA-PBK – Bobbye Moye: email: [email protected]. All prospective bidders who wish to bid on the Project shall submit their Prequalification Statements to the Owner, Clayton County Public Schools, Construction Department via email: [email protected], on or before Tuesday, April 11, 2023. Prequalification Statements received after said date will be returned unopened.
