SUBJECT: NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT FOR F1STAB1115B001- Instructor Pilot with use of a CM-170 Super Fouga aircraft with sufficient room in the cockpit for the student to be in control seat along with a contractor pilot in another control seat, preferably in the second-in-command/instructor position.

AIR FORCE INTENTS TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT WITH Red Star Aviation Museum Inc. The Air Force, Edwards Air Force Base, CA intends to award a Sole Source purchase order to Red Star Aviation Museum., 8 Knollwood Rd, Hackettstown, NJ 07840-4114. The Sole Source purchase will be for Instructor Pilot with a use of a CM-170 Super Fouga.
Red Star Aviation Museum Inc. is the only known source identified that can satisfy the agency requirement for this service and meets the conditions of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 611512 and the size standard is $25,500,000.00.
Please note that this is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements are invited to submit in writing complete information describing their ability to provide Instructor Pilot with a use of a CM-170 Super Fouga in accordance with the PWS, dated 20 May 2011.
