The Naval Air Warfare Center - Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, NJ requires repair services for the TTU-597/E Fuel Quantity Test Set (FQTS) units, which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with BCF Designs, Inc. located in Suffolk, VA. Under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1), FAR 6.302-1, this firm is considered the only supplier of the TTU-597/E FQTS, as they are the sole designer and manufacturer of the units, and the Government is not in possession of the drawings or technical data at this time. Interested firms may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, however, the government will consider all responses received to this notice. A determination by the government not to open the requirement to competition based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of this notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. No solicitation will be available for this procurement.
