Maritime Supply Chain Request for Information (RFI) Defense Logistics Agency Defense Supply Center Columbus FSCs 5961 and 5962 Qualified Suppliers List of Distributors (QSLD) This announcement constitutes an official Request for Information, as defined in FAR 15.201(e). The proposed “Criteria and Provisions for Qualified Suppliers List of Distributors (QSLD)” document is applicable to selected Federal Stock Class (FSC) 5961 and 5962 items, where a streamlined acquisition process is desired to improve the quality and services provided to our military customers. The document has been developed to outline the elements needed to successfully qualify for listing on a Qualified Suppliers List of Distributors (QSLD). The purpose of the QSLD Program is to establish and maintain a list of pre-qualified distributors that may be used to procure both QML standard parts and/or commercial parts in addition to procuring from the original device manufacturer. This proposed QSLD listing will pertain only to products that are purchased and managed by the Defense Supply Center Columbus (DSCC). QSLD products are provided by suppliers that combine accepted commercial practices, quality assurance procedures that are consistent with industry and international quality standards, and tailored when necessary to product unique requirements that can take the place of provisions traditionally stated in DSCC solicitations.
