The Montana State University Extension Fire Services Training School is soliciting bids for two Semi-tractors per requirements in this document. These will be used to tow two structural fire training props trailers for training across the State of Montana. About: The Fire Services Training School (FSTS) is the state level agency charged with providing professional development for community fire and rescue services. For administrative purposes, the FSTS is attached to the Extension Service of Montana State University. Mission: The mission of the FSTS is to build capacity in local governments for protecting the life safety of citizens, their property, the tax base and infrastructure from harm caused by unwanted fires, accidents, injuries, hazardous materials incidents and other emergencies. Minimum Technical Requirements Prototype, used, or demonstrator units are unacceptable. Units must be standard production models and must have been in production and available on the open market prior to bid opening date. All exceptions to the specifications MUST be listed in an addendum with specific reference to the specification.
